Rožaje is a small but beautiful city in northeastern Montenegro that borders with Serbia and Kosovo. With only around 9 thousand inhabitants, it's one of the little towns worth visiting to discover the montenegrin culture.
The town is surrounded by several mountains which are over 1400m altitude. One of the fantastic mountains is Hajla and its highest peak is 2.403m. The other surrounding mountains are Zljeb, Mokra gora, Krstac and Turjak.
Through the town flows the Ibar river (total length of 276 km) that begins in the Hajla mountain. During the summer time enjoy the beautiful landscape and explore the untouched nature. During winter you can enjoy skiing on some of the surrounding mountains .
