Danilovgrad
Danilovgrad is a town in Montenegro situated between Podgorica, the capital city and second largest city in Montenegro, Nikšić. The town got its name after Nicholas' predecessor Prince Danilo. It has an population of about 5200 and an area of 501 km2.
The town is right next to the river Zeta in a valley and surrounded by wonderful nature with mountains over 1000 meters high.

About 25km away from Danilovgrad is the famous orthodox pilgrimage, the Monastery of Ostrog.
The city is well connected: The main railroad connection from Podgorica to Niksic goes through Danilovgrad and there are buses from Podgorica and Niksic on a daily basis.
The town is just about 80km from the coast, 20km from the capital city Podgorica and about 100km from Žabljak – and Durmitor National Park.
